Painter and sailor François Poitout devotes this large illustrated book to whales. Page after page, his paintings, with text in French and English, invite children and adults alike to discover the beauty and hidden riches of the oceans, and why they must be protected.

“Art probably won’t save the world, but I think it can remind us why we love it.” — François Poitout
