Shipping and returns
The artist’s books are shipped with care from François Poitout’s studio in Tourcoing. Here is everything you need to know about shipping, returns and refunds.
Shipping
Shipping within mainland France: €8 per order, selected at checkout.
Delivery times: your order is prepared within 2 working days, then delivered in 3 to 7 working days. You receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as you pay.
The A3 books are packed flat and protected for transport.
Shipping outside mainland France (overseas territories, Belgium, other countries): please contact us before ordering for a quote.
Free pick-up at the studio
You can choose free pick-up at the studio, 33 rue de Muhlhausen, 59200 Tourcoing. After your order, François will contact you to arrange an appointment.
Damaged or incomplete parcel
If your parcel arrives damaged or the book is defective, contact us on receipt at contact@fpoitout.com with photos. A replacement copy or a refund will be offered at no cost to you.
Returns: 14-day right of withdrawal
In accordance with French consumer law, you have 14 days from receipt of the book to withdraw from your purchase, without giving any reason.
To do so, send an e-mail to contact@fpoitout.com (or use the template below), then send the book back within the following 14 days to: François Poitout, 33 rue de Muhlhausen, 59200 Tourcoing, France. You can also bring it back to the studio.
The book must be returned in its original condition, undamaged, in protective packaging. Return shipping costs are at your expense.
Exception: a book bearing a dedication personalised at your request (to a first name, for example) is a personalised item and cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (French Consumer Code, article L221-28). The usual signature and numbering do not count as personalisation.
Refund
The full refund (price of the book and initial shipping costs) is made within 14 days of your request, and at the latest once the returned book has been received. It is credited to the card used for payment.
