“Tribute to Salah” exhibition 2026
Highlights of the exhibition organised by the AASPT at La Condition Publique in Roubaix in September 2026. The event paid tribute to Salah, an emblematic figure of the Tossée neighbourhood and of the famous “Chez Salah” café, a symbol of conviviality, local history and working-class memory. Through François Poitout’s paintings, Sabrina Naki’s book of interviews (Salah – Mon prénom veut dire loyal, Éditions Nord Avril) and the presence of former workers, this gallery bears witness to a strong moment of sharing and heritage.
